Alabama Crimson Tide Basketball Expands Schedule with Road Game
Nate Oats, the head coach of Alabama Crimson Tide Basketball, remains committed to challenging his team by scheduling games against a variety of opponents, including smaller programs. As part of this strategy, Alabama has added a true road exhibition game against Furman, which will take place at Timmons Arena, a venue with a capacity of 6,000. Furman, a respected private institution in Greenville, boasts a strong athletic history, particularly in basketball and football. Last season, the Paladins achieved a commendable 25-10 record and were ranked 139th by KenPom, although they were eliminated in the first round of the NIT by North Texas, who later became the runner-up. This matchup will be an essential test for Alabama as they prepare for the upcoming regular season.
